Pearl of art nouveau architecture
Villa Ammende is the best example of the early Art Nouveau in Estonia and also one of the three Art Nouveau hotels in the world. This type of rarity needs protection, so the facade of our building, villa’s interior elements, the fence and trees in the park are all listed under national heritage protection.
The first two floors of the villa have been restored to their former glory as authentically as possible: the colourful walls, painted cornices, glazed fireplaces, gorgeously profiled doorways. The original spatial layout has also been restored. While preserving the building’s historic character, we have also added modern comforts throughout the house.
Villa Ammende, built on 1905 for the joyous wedding celebrations, opened as a luxury hotel and fine dining restaurant almost 100 years later, is carefully renovated charming historical city chateaux, nestled in the ancient park area of Pärnu, the summer capital of Estonia. Our villa is exceptionally beautiful architectural landmark of Estonia and of the whole Baltic region and one of few Art Nouveau hotels in the world.
As you probably already guess, Villa Ammende is not your regular Pärnu hotel. We are a cosy boutique hotel for those with an appetite for something unique. In 2020 we went through another extensive refurbishment, obviously we kept all the unique Art Nouveau features. However, added a touch of modern comforts and solutions so you could enjoy the time in Ammende even more. Our 19 rooms include both cosy attic rooms and elegant suites with a noble history, each and every one of them has a character of its own. It’s a stay in Pärnu with a special flare!

You are welcome to check in at any time between 15.00 and 18.00. If you have not notified us of a later arrival, we retain the right to offer your room to the next guest.
On the day of leaving, you need to give up your room by 12 the latest.
